Drain Pipe Vibration Damping Sheet

This product is supplied in self-adhesive sheet form under model znp. Its main structure consists of a scale-pattern polymer epoxy adhesive damping layer with a self-adhesive backing. The product is available for several drain pipe size types and supply lengths and can be used as an independent damping layer on the pipe surface.

Pipe size type, sheet thickness and required length form the main product specification, with supply quantity matched to the actual drain pipe project.

The vibration damping sheet is mainly used on waste pipes, sewage pipes and drainage pipes in building drainage systems, where water flow impact and pipe-wall vibration contribute to structural noise.

Applied directly to the pipe surface, the product mainly serves as a pipe-wall vibration control layer and can be used on vertical drain pipes, horizontal drainage runs and pipe sections requiring local damping treatment. Where additional outer acoustic coverage is required, drain pipe sound insulation materials can be applied over the damping layer to form a combined acoustic treatment structure.

The scale-pattern polymer epoxy adhesive damping layer forms the main damping structure, while the back surface uses a self-adhesive construction for direct contact with the pipe wall. The damping layer is used to control pipe-wall vibration and resonance and to reduce the effect of vibration-related noise radiation from the pipe surface.

This vibration damping sheet is intended primarily as a surface damping treatment for drain pipes. It can be used as a standalone vibration-control layer or as the inner layer of a multi-layer drain pipe sound insulation construction together with outer rubber foam acoustic insulation materials.
