Elastomeric Insulation for HVAC, Refrigeration and Pipe Systems
Insulvora manufactures closed-cell elastomeric insulation in flexible board, sheet and preformed pipe forms for HVAC, refrigeration, chilled-water piping and mechanical insulation systems. The range covers flat-surface and pipe applications where thermal performance, moisture control and installation continuity are part of the project requirement. Product form, dimensions, thickness, density, facing and service conditions are specified against the selected product and order.
Elastomeric Insulation Boards, Sheets and Pipe Sleeves
The elastomeric insulation range includes five board and sheet products and seven pipe or sleeve products. Each product below links to its own specification page, with density shown from the corresponding product record.

HVAC & Refrigeration Systems
Elastomeric insulation is used on HVAC and refrigeration pipework, ducts and equipment where thermal insulation and moisture control are required together. Board and sheet forms cover larger or non-cylindrical surfaces, while preformed pipe sections provide a direct format for compatible piping and mechanical services.
Chilled-Water Piping
For chilled-water systems, rubber insulation is applied where the pipe surface operates below ambient temperature and the insulation system must limit heat gain while supporting moisture control. Pipe outside diameter, insulation thickness, operating temperature, ambient humidity and continuity at joints and fittings all affect the project specification.
Condensation Control
On cold piping and equipment, closed-cell elastomeric insulation helps combine thermal control with resistance to moisture ingress. Condensation performance also depends on insulation thickness, local temperature and humidity, and continuity through seams, fittings and penetrations, so the installed system must be considered together with the selected product.
Elastomeric Insulation Specifications & Supply
Elastomeric insulation is supplied as board, sheet and preformed pipe products against the required installation geometry and order specification. Rubber insulation foam specifications remain tied to the selected product form. The purchasing variables differ between flat products and pipe products, so dimensions, thickness, density, facing and quantity are defined for the selected product form rather than treated as one universal rubber foam specification.
Board & Sheet Specifications
Board and sheet orders identify thickness, length and width, density, surface construction and quantity. Depending on the selected product series, rubber insulation can be supplied in plain, self-adhesive or foil-faced configurations, with color options available on designated board products. These variables are confirmed together because the backing or facing forms part of the ordered construction.
Pipe Specifications
Pipe insulation is specified by the actual pipe outside diameter, corresponding sleeve size, required insulation thickness, density or product series, surface configuration and quantity. For projects containing several pipe sizes, each diameter and thickness combination can be listed separately so the supplied sleeves correspond to the actual piping schedule.
Material Data, Configuration & Packing
The current product family includes closed-cell NBR/PVC rubber foam configurations. Product-specific thermal, fire and service-condition data remain tied to the exact board, sheet or pipe construction supplied rather than being presented as one value for every elastomeric product. NBR foam material information and closed-cell performance guidance are available in the related technical pages.
Packing and shipment requirements are aligned with product form, dimensions, order quantity, transport method and destination. The final order specification connects the supplied product configuration with the required technical or compliance documentation.
