High Density Fiberglass Insulation Board

Insulvora manufactures high density fiberglass insulation boards in densities from 64–120 kg/m³ and thicknesses from 20–100 mm. Boards are supplied in specified lengths and widths for wall, partition, roof and curtain wall insulation projects. Project and distribution orders can be prepared against the required density, thickness, board dimensions, quantity and defined performance requirements.

The available product color is yellow. Density, thickness and board dimensions are specified according to the actual order requirements.

Typical Applications

High-density glass wool board is suited to areas that require greater stiffness during cutting, positioning and installation, including walls, partitions, curtain-wall cavities and roof assemblies that use framing or mechanical fixings.

The denser board is easier to install where roll insulation is difficult to position, but it must not be used as a load-bearing panel. If a project specifies compressive strength or fixing performance, select a product grade with the relevant test results rather than relying on density alone.

Board dimensions should match the framing spacing and the planned fixing method.

Thermal Performance & Product Data

High density describes the amount of material per unit volume and the stiffness of the board; it does not automatically provide higher thermal resistance. Actual thermal resistance depends on the declared thermal conductivity of the selected grade and the installed thickness. The 450°C maximum service temperature applies to the glass wool substrate, while facings, adhesives or the support system may impose a lower limit.

Mechanical, acoustic and fire requirements should be checked against test values for the specific board and should not be inferred from density or handling characteristics. Products with the same density may still perform differently when their formulations differ.

Factory Supply & Order Specification

Insulvora prepares high density glass wool board quotations and production orders according to the required product specification. Buyers can provide the required density, thickness, board length, board width and quantity for quotation.

For project purchasing, distribution orders and repeat supply, the specified product dimensions and density provide the basis for production, documentation, packing and delivery.

Specification & Production

Orders are prepared against the specified density and finished board dimensions. Any defined performance requirements can be included with the same product specification.

Technical Documents

Technical datasheets, relevant test reports and other product documents can be provided where required for the quoted product grade. Defined documentation requirements can be included with the enquiry.

Packing & Repeat Supply

Available packing is an inner PVC bag with an outer woven-fabric bag. Labeling, packing and other defined delivery requirements can be recorded with the product specification for project, distribution or repeat orders.
