R13 Fiberglass Insulation
Insulvora manufactures flexible glass wool insulation in roll and blanket form for projects requiring R13, R19 or R20 thermal resistance. Orders are prepared against the required R-value, density, thickness, width, length and product configuration.
R13 Fiberglass Insulation Specifications
R13 fiberglass insulation, R19 fiberglass insulation and R20 glass wool products are supplied in flexible roll or blanket form. The required thermal resistance is quoted against the actual glass wool construction, including density, thickness, dimensions and product form.
The available range supports different project specifications while retaining the flexible roll and blanket format. Facing or other defined product requirements can be included with the base insulation specification when they are part of the order.
Density, thickness, roll width and roll length form the main supply specification. The required R-value, quantity and any defined facing or construction requirement can be recorded with these parameters for quotation and production preparation.
Typical Applications
R13, R19 and R20 fiberglass insulation is suitable for framed walls, ceilings, roofs and floors where the design or energy code specifies the corresponding thermal resistance. The target R-value should be coordinated with the available cavity depth, framing spacing and product form.
Rolls suit long, continuous runs, while pre-cut batts suit repeated framing bays. Where the assembly requires a particular vapor-control or surface function, the appropriate facing may be selected.
Final product selection should follow the complete wall, roof or floor design; the R-value is not a universal product size. Purchase documents should state the thickness, finished width and permitted tolerances.
Thermal Performance & Product Data
R13, R19 and R20 indicate thermal resistance rather than a fixed density or standard thickness. The supplied product must achieve the target R-value at the declared thickness and under the stated test conditions.
Compression, gaps, poor edge fit and structural thermal bridges can all reduce the performance of the installed assembly, even when the package carries the correct R-value. Facing, fire classification and acoustic performance are separate properties and should be confirmed against the project requirements.
Product data should identify the exact grade, thickness, dimensions and facing used to achieve the stated R-value. Inspection should also check cavity fill, compression, edge fit and continuity.
Factory Supply & Order Specification
Insulvora prepares R13, R19 and R20 fiberglass insulation orders according to the required thermal resistance and product specification. Density, thickness, width, length, product form, quantity and facing requirements can be included in the same quotation request.
For project and distribution orders, the required construction can be recorded as a complete supply specification for quotation and production preparation. The same specification can also be used as the basis for repeat purchasing where the same glass wool configuration is required again.
The order specification can include the required R-value, glass wool density, thickness, roll dimensions and product form. Where a facing is required, the facing configuration is specified together with the insulation.
Building-code, energy, fire or other project requirements can be submitted with the enquiry when they apply to the order. Relevant product data and supporting technical information can then be aligned with the quoted glass wool construction.
For R19 fiberglass batt insulation enquiries, provide the required batt format, finished piece dimensions and quantity together with the R-value requirement. The standard documented range on this page remains flexible roll and blanket form.
